Thermal transfer printing process
1.
Traditional thermal transfer printing process
The thermal transfer process is usually called a hot stamping process, a special printing process.
Traditional thermal transfer technology: a printing process that uses a printer to print the pattern image on a heat-resistant base film, and then uses a thermal transfer device to transfer the image on the thermal transfer film to the product through heating and pressurization.

2. Traditional thermal transfer printing process: thermal transfer film printing process and thermal transfer processing technology
1. Thermal transfer film printing process
The specific position, proportion and size of the product transfer pattern are computer typeset through image design editing and processing software (Ps, Ai, CDR, etc.). After thermal transfer plate making, the image is printed on the pet film through a gravure printing machine.
2. Thermal transfer processing technology
The pattern on the thermal transfer film is transferred to the product performance through a one-time printing (heating and pressurization) of the thermal transfer machine. After molding, the thermal transfer ink is integrated with the product surface.
Next, let's take a closer look at the classification of thermal transfer printing technology.
3. Classification of thermal transfer printing technology
The thermal transfer printing technology can be divided into the following categories according to the different materials of the hot stamping products:
1. Plastic thermal transfer printing technology
Common plastic thermal transfer materials include: ABS, AS, PS, PVC, EVA, PP, PE, PET, TPR, PU, acrylic, etc.
2. Metal thermal transfer printing technology
At present, the domestic metal thermal transfer printing technology is mainly used on metal products with smooth surface, coating (spray paint), and regular shape.
3. Wood thermal transfer printing technology
The surface decoration of various types of wood-plastic doors, wooden doors, steel-plastic doors, and stainless steel doors in daily life generally uses wood thermal transfer printing technology.
After transfer processing, these doors are integrated with the pattern of wood grain thermal transfer film, becoming a variety of doors with wood grain, almost reaching the point of being indistinguishable from the real thing.
4. Glass thermal transfer printing technology
The glass thermal transfer printing technology is a breakthrough in the field of thermal transfer technology in recent years.
The exquisite and complex patterns on some glass cups, glass bottles and other glassware on the market are the product of the application of thermal transfer technology on glass products.
As people's requirements for product appearance increase, thermal transfer printing technology is gradually developing, and through the hard work of "thermal transfer people", the application field will be continuously expanded.
