PVC thermal transfer
PVC thermal transfer
1. Application of PVC
thermal transfer film
PVC, scientifically known as polyvinyl chloride, is a widely used material.
PVC products are often used in our lives, such as PVC sheets, PVC pipes, PVC soles, PVC toys, PVC doors and windows, PVC wire sheaths, PVC stationery, PVC packaging boxes, etc.
Therefore, the market demand for PVC thermal transfer film is increasing.
2. Misunderstandings of the concept of PVC thermal transfer film
"PVC thermal transfer film" is literally understood. For people who are new to thermal transfer, they may think that the base film is a thermal transfer film made of PVC material. There is a misunderstanding here.
First of all, starting from the fundamentals of thermal transfer technology.
The process characteristics of thermal transfer are to carry out corresponding "thermal transfer film printing" and "thermal transfer processing" according to the material characteristics of the substrate.
Secondly, the choice of thermal transfer base film.
Most of the thermal transfer base films used in the industry are PET films. PET films have the characteristics of good stability, uniform tension, and extremely small thickness deviation of the film, so they are the most widely used.
In order to facilitate identification, the industry uses "material" plus "thermal transfer film" to indicate the thermal transfer film corresponding to the substrate material. Therefore, the correct understanding of PVC thermal transfer film is - a thermal transfer film that conforms to the characteristics of PVC material.
After clarifying the concept, let's briefly understand the production process of PVC thermal transfer film.
3. PVC thermal transfer film printing process
It can be simply divided into 6 processes:
1. PVC thermal transfer film printing coating process:
Apply the corresponding release agent and protective layer of PVC, and cut the blank film after ensuring drying;
2. PVC thermal transfer film pattern printing process:
The gravure plate is installed on the gravure printing machine for calibration and overprinting, and the release film is installed on the gravure printing machine to start printing the thermal transfer film
3. PVC thermal transfer film adhesive glue coating process:
Apply the corresponding adhesive glue on the printed PVC thermal transfer film and ensure that the glue is dried;
4. Re-inspection process
5. Striping process
6. Packaging process
At this point, the printing of the PVC thermal transfer film is completed.
