How to design a self-standing zipper bag to meet usage requirements?

1. Heat seal test: The sealing strength of the heat seal is verified through the heat seal strength test. If the heat sealing strength is not appropriate, problems such as air leakage and bag breakage may easily occur.

2. In order to detect air tightness, parts that are prone to air leakage and pressure relief can be found through air tightness energy (negative pressure method) test.

3. In order to test the impact resistance of the contents, verify it through the burst pressure (positive pressure method) test, fill the package with gas, and test whether the finished package breaks under the impact of the internal gas, which is used to determine whether the finished package is prone to breakage. location and compressive strength.

4. For the analysis of gas components in the package, verify it through the performance test of residual oxygen and carbon dioxide in the headspace. The proportion of oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen in the finished product packaging can be monitored to determine the sealing performance of the finished product packaging, and the proportion of gases in the packaging meets product quality requirements.

5. For the detection of drop resistance, relevant drop resistance tests are provided to further verify whether the bag is damaged when the finished packaging falls within a certain height.

When the food self-standing zipper bag was sealed, the sealing part broke. Here’s why:

1. Reasons for packaging materials

The composite film used in the self-standing zipper bag has poor peel strength, that is, the composite fastness between the single layers of the composite film is poor, and the composite film is prone to delamination. When the heat sealing strength at the heat sealing area is high, the composite film at the heat sealing area is prone to delamination under the impact of the packaging or being squeezed by external forces, resulting in air leakage and rupture near the heat sealing of the package. It can be verified through burst pressure (positive pressure method) and peel strength tests.

2. Hidden dangers in the production process

If the parameters of the heat sealing equipment are set improperly, it will easily lead to poor heat sealing quality, poor heat sealing (i.e. the heat sealing is not tight and easy to separate) or excessive heat sealing (i.e. the heat sealing strength is too high and the heat sealing root is broken). It is easy to cause air leakage and heat seal rupture. Can be verified by sealing performance (negative pressure method) and heat seal strength.
