In-mold
labeling is a method favored by many friends in China, and its label materials
include film and paper. Let's take a look at what film materials are used for in-mold labeling?
BOPP:
This material is biaxially stretched and has a special coating on the surface.
It has good printability, but the in-mold label is easily deformed when
labeling a large area on a container. If the container material is PE and the
in-mold label material is BOPP, due to the different shrinkage rates of the
two, orange peel will appear after labeling.
PE:
This kind of material is not stretched, the surface needs corona treatment, the
printability is poor, and the material deforms greatly after hot stamping. It
will not deform when labeling on PE containers.
PP+PE:
This material has been uniaxially stretched, and the surface of the material needs
to be corona treated. It has good printability and stable printing tension.
Since the material contains PE components, it is required to use hot stamping
foil with a lower hot stamping temperature during hot stamping. This kind of
material can achieve better labeling effect: smooth surface, no deformation,
and beautiful appearance. The above is about removing film materials. I hope
the above knowledge can help everyone understand it. If you need it, you can
