Thermal transfer is an emerging printing process
Thermal transfer is an emerging printing process that has been introduced from abroad for only more than 10 years. The printing method of this process is divided into two parts: transfer film printing and transfer processing. The pattern is pre-printed on the surface of the film. The printed pattern is rich in layers, bright in color, ever-changing, with small color difference and good reproducibility. It can meet the requirements of the designer and is suitable for mass production; the transfer processing is processed by a thermal transfer machine (heating and pressurizing) to transfer the exquisite pattern on the transfer film to the surface of the product. After forming, the ink layer and the surface of the product are melted into one, which is realistic and beautiful, greatly improving the grade of the product.
Transfer production process:
The first step is to make a high-resolution picture;
The second step is to make a dot-type gravure electric engraving plate according to the size of the picture;
The third step is to install the gravure on the printing machine and print it on the PET polyester film to print it into a thermal transfer printing film. Several thousand meters of finished patterns can be printed in one hour.
The fourth step is to install the thermal transfer printing film on the thermal transfer hot stamping machine for printing. The operation is simple, the pattern is formed in one time, and no color matching is required.
A thermal transfer machine can print tens of thousands of products in 8 working hours a day.
