For different transfer objects and thermal transfer equipment, the thermal transfer process is different. The following is a brief description of several common thermal transfer film printing processes.

2 Thermal transfer film printing process flow - thermal transfer plate making
The thermal transfer plate making process of the thermal transfer film printing process flow is divided into:

1. After receiving the thermal transfer film printing artwork, first confirm the size and content of the pattern with the customer, and then color the artwork: Color separation is divided into two parts

a. Adjust black, blue, red, and yellow colors in the design software.

b. If there are other small texts or thin lines less than 2mm in size, they need to be made with a spot color plate.

2. To customize the plate material, first determine the printing layout (plate circumference, plate length), thermal transfer bleeding, etc. of the thermal transfer printing pattern of the customer's product;

3. After the shape of the plate has been confirmed, it will be delivered to the thermal transfer platemaking factory for platemaking.

4. Receive the engraved thermal transfer plate material and hand it over to the thermal transfer film production workshop to arrange the production schedule.

1. Thermal transfer film printing coating process:
According to the thermal transfer printing film process, apply the corresponding release agent and protective layer. After ensuring that the release agent and protective layer are dried, cut the blank film according to the specifications of the thermal transfer printing film to be printed;

2. Thermal transfer film printing process:
According to the established process of thermal transfer printing film, install the gravure plate on the gravure printing machine, calibrate the overprint, install the corresponding release film on the gravure printing machine, start printing the thermal transfer printing film, and prevent various printing problems during the printing process to ensure that the ink layer is dry;

3. Thermal transfer Coating process of printing film:
After the thermal transfer printing film is printed, it will go to the adhesive glue coating process. According to the established process of the thermal transfer printing film, the printed thermal transfer printing film will be coated with the corresponding adhesive glue, and the glue will be ensured to be dried;

4. Re-inspection process of thermal transfer printing film:
After completing the adhesive glue coating process, the thermal transfer printing film will enter the re-inspection process. The re-inspector will re-inspect the thermal transfer printing film according to the established process and inspection requirements of the thermal transfer printing film, detect the defective products, and ensure that the quality of the thermal transfer printing film is effectively controlled;

5. Striping process of thermal transfer printing film:
After the re-inspection is completed, the thermal transfer printing film will go through the striping process. According to the established process requirements of the thermal transfer printing film, after determining the film transfer direction, the thermal transfer printing film will be striped;

6. Packaging process of thermal transfer printing film:
According to the packaging requirements of the thermal transfer printing film, after marking the relevant process, specifications, etc. of the thermal transfer printing film, the thermal transfer printing film will be protected and packed.
