PP thermal transfer
PP thermal transfer
1. Characteristics of PP thermal transfer
Among plastic thermal transfer, PP thermal transfer and ABS thermal transfer are the most widely used. People who are familiar with thermal transfer know the characteristics of thermal transfer process-thermal transfer film printing and thermal transfer processing are carried out according to the material of the substrate.
The characteristics of PP thermal transfer are "PP thermal transfer film printing" and "PP thermal transfer processing" according to the material of plastic PP.

PP thermal transfer products
PP plastic, also known as polypropylene, has a low density (0.91 g/cm3~0.96g/cm3.), strength and stiffness. PP materials are widely used, such as: plastic lunch boxes, trash cans, disposable water cups, food-grade PP plastic bowls, buckets, washbasins and other daily necessities. Most of their surface decorations use thermal transfer technology.

III. PP thermal transfer process
1. PP thermal transfer film production stage
The production of PP thermal transfer film is no different from that of other thermal transfer films, and is briefly divided into 6 steps:
1) Apply blank PET film;
2) Print the flower film pattern;
3) Apply PP thermal transfer glue to the printed thermal transfer film
4) Re-inspection;
5) Striping;
6) Packaging.
2. PP thermal transfer processing stage
A. Plastic PP has good heat resistance, and the product can be sterilized at a temperature above 100°C. It will not deform at 150°C without external force.
Therefore, in the process of PP thermal transfer, the temperature should be high, generally controlled at 210-220 degrees.
B. Plastic has high crystallinity and regular structure, so it has excellent mechanical properties and high tensile strength.
When PP is thermally transferred, a relatively higher pressure should be used (the pressure should be adjusted in combination with the thermal transfer machine and the thermal transfer rubber roller.)
