What is ABS thermal transfer processing
1-What is
ABS thermal transfer processing
Among plastic products, ABS thermal transfer processing is the most common hot stamping process, which is to firmly transfer the pre-made ABS thermal transfer film to the surface of ABS daily necessities.
2-Steps of
ABS thermal transfer processing
First, make a plate according to the design layering diagram provided by the customer
Secondly, install the prepared plate on the gravure printing machine to print the thermal transfer printing film with ABS pattern in batches
Then apply glue to the finished
flower film, and conduct re-inspection, striping, packaging, etc.
Finally, install the finished ABS thermal transfer printing film on the thermal transfer machine for transfer. The operation is simple and the pattern can be formed in one time.
3-Precautions for
ABS thermal transfer processing
a. Dust-free processing environment
The thermal transfer processing environment of ABS requires a dust-free or dust-free environment. The dust-free environment can prevent dust from falling on the printing surface of the substrate or the thermal transfer film, affecting the transfer effect.
B. Keep the surface of ABS substrate free of oil stains
Some ABS substrates will have oil stains on the surface after production. If you transfer directly to the ABS substrate with oil stains, the adhesion after transfer will be poor and the pattern will be easily damaged.
It is recommended to wipe the oil stains on the product before processing, so as to ensure the adhesion of the ABS thermal transfer film and the reproducibility of the pattern.
C. ABS hot stamping temperature
After the corresponding thermal transfer machine is debugged normally, it is necessary to adjust the temperature of the rubber roller to about 100℃, and then adjust it to the required hot stamping temperature after automatic constant temperature.
Because the chemical properties of ABS material are relatively stable and can be well combined with the ink on the thermal transfer film, it is best to control the hot stamping temperature at 180-200 degrees during hot stamping, and the pressure is controlled at 0.5Kpa/s.
4-Main applications of ABS thermal transfer processing
ABS thermal transfer processing can be applied to the appearance decoration of various ABS products with flat, curved, cylindrical and conical surfaces.
It can be applied to these products, such as ABS plastic trash cans, plastic cups, plastic plates, plastic brushes, plastic combs, plastic washbasins, children's toy shells, stationery, medical instruments, plastic photo frames, mini pen holders, electronic accessories, learning machine panels, etc.
