Requirements for electrostatic mold suction method for in-mold labeling

The method usually used in the in-mold labeling process is the electrostatic mold suction method. However, when we use this method, there are many details that need to be paid attention to. Let us take a look at the requirements of the electrostatic mold suction method for in-mold labeling.

1. A high-voltage electrostatic dispensing system must be added to the equipment to evenly apply sufficient electrostatic charge to the label in a short period of time, and affix the label to the inner cavity of the blow mold at zero potential through a robotic arm.

2. A static elimination system must be added to the equipment to eliminate residual static electricity after each labeling to avoid affecting the electrical control system of the in-mold labeling machine and label adhesion caused by static electricity.

3. Appropriate label base materials and appropriate printing inks must be selected.
