How to feed in-mold labels into the injection mold and precautions

Three actions that the end tool for in-mold labeling can complete: In a limited space, first pick up and insert the trademark, and then fix the trademark in the mold. This operation reduces the size of the unit compared to a static labeling unit, which then removes the branded plastic bottles from the mold. Generally, when injection molding automotive parts, special care should be taken when handling surface products with Class A.

To avoid scratches on the surface, the use of vacuum suction cups must be strictly prohibited. At this time, you can consider installing a clamp made of acetal on the EOAT, which can effectively avoid scratching the surface of the product. Vacuum suction cups are referred to as suction cups, also known as vacuum slings. Generally speaking, they are a type with a sealing lip. They form a temporary sealed space after contact with the object to be sucked. By removing or thinning the air in the sealed space, a vacuum suction cup is created. A pneumatic component that operates due to the difference in internal and external pressure. Its names also include rubber nozzle, rubber suction head, leather bowl, etc.

The materials used to produce vacuum suction cups are generally various rubbers, plastics and metals. The vacuum suction cups we often see are made of NR, NBR, SI, FKM, PUR, NE, EPDM, SE and other rubbers. If we classify by shape, it can be divided into flat suction cups, elliptical suction cups, corrugated suction cups and special-shaped suction cups. Corrugated suction cups are further subdivided into two-layer corrugated suction cups, three-layer corrugated suction cups and multi-layer corrugated suction cups. According to the classification of thin and confined space, it can be divided into pneumatic suction cups and manual suction cups. Using vacuum suction cups to grab products is the cheapest method.

There are various types of vacuum suction cups. Suction cups made of rubber can operate at high temperatures. Suction cups made of silicone rubber are very suitable for grabbing products with rough surfaces; suction cups made of polyurethane are very durable. In addition, in actual production, if the suction cup is required to be oil-resistant, you can consider using materials such as polyurethane, nitrile rubber or vinyl-containing polymers to make suction cups. Usually, in order to avoid the surface of the product being scratched, choose a suction cup with a bellows made of nitrile rubber or silicone rubber. When using a vacuum suction cup (without a clamp) in EOAT, it should be noted that the manipulator The moving speed cannot be too high, otherwise a shearing force will be generated on the suction cup, making the product easy to fall during rapid twisting.

In some cases, a clamp may be used to ensure safe transport of the product. Considering that the product may stick to the mold, an air clamp can usually be installed to solve this problem. When the surface area of the product is too small or the product is too heavy to use a vacuum suction cup, this problem can also be solved by using a clamp.
